Ashley Mulhall is a general management consultant with specific skills in the application of IT to manufacturing businesses. These skills have been gained through practical experience within SME's of business analysis, defining requirements, system selection and procurement and managing their implementation.

In addition, past responsibilities have included assessment of telecommunications needs and development of networking proposals including liasing and negotiating with software and hardware suppliers.

Most of this experience has come from working within industry as an IT manager with a wide brief covering all of the above areas together with responsibility for developing and delivering mini computer and PC training in the use of applications software within the business designed to improve efficiencies. Recent projects, involved work in industry sectors as diverse as:

Before entering consultancy, Ashley worked in industry for more than 20 years, both in the UK and Australia holding senior positions in IT, Production Management and Finance Management.

It is this breadth of real, hands-on, experience which allows Ashley to quickly grasp the key issues and be able to discuss these knowledgeably, with department representatives or the board. Having "done it" he can relate to the problems at a people level and is therefore accepted very rapidly into the client company.
