Ian is a senior manager with more than 22 years experience in project management / operational improvement in both the public and private sector: including outsourcing contract implementation and process improvement programmes based on 6 Sigma / Lean methodology principles.

For many years, Ian was a senior manager with Accenture, formally known as Andersen Consulting, and he managed and supported numerous projects in the operational / supply chain arena.

Prior to moving into consultancy, Ian's early career in the aerospace and machine tool industries provided extensive experience in project management, factory layout , supply chain optimisation, production engineering and information systems development and implementation.
