making sure your
research passes the "so what?" test!
Many membership organisations do not maximise
the potential benefit they can obtain through
research.
We have seen many examples of surveys that really
add little value and don't pass the "so
what?" test! The result of such surveys
is normally some basic stats/graphs to demonstrate
that the membership is broadly satisfied with
the current situation.
We can help you ensure you get far more useful
information from your research and to gain a
deeper insight with which to think strategically
and identify new service (and revenue) opportunities.
We guide you through the process, first by talking
with you to understand the issues facing your
sector and then advising you on the information
we can gain to support you in addressing these
issues. We also advise on the best means of
obtaining this information, for example through:

Where we add value beyond that of many research
companies is in how we use the information we
gather.
From our analysis of the results, we will firstly
develop a series of assertions or key messages
from the study. We will then use this to drive
discussions in a highly interactive workshop
with you and a representative group of members
and other stakeholders.
